Enjoy Free Opera Live at Lunchtime this August 2026 in Dublin! Experience the magic of live opera out in the fresh air with Opera in the Open 2026, a free lunchtime concert series brought to life by the @dublincityartsoffice at @dublincitycouncil Taking place at lunchtime each Thursday throughout August 2026, shows transform Wood Quay Amphitheatre into a vibrant stage for abridged operatic performances narrated in English. Bring a picnic, grab a seat, or lounge on the grassy verges, and enjoy world-class music in the heart of the city. Cushions, blankets and camping chairs are welcome. Opera lovers and curious newcomers alike are welcome! Event Details: 1-2 pm Every Thursday, August 2026. Wood Quay Amphitheatre at Dublin City Council Civic Offices, Dublin 8.
